Received great news about Evie yesterday. The PDA closed up with the indomethicin treatment, so they removed the CPAP (forced oxygen tube). She is now just on a normal flow of oxygen so we can see her cute little nose! The brain scan also came back normal with no evidence of any bleeding. They moved Evie from an open bed to an isolette, much like an incubator. This bed is better able to regulate her temperature and allow for less monitoring by the nursing staff, meaning much more needed rest and opportunity for growth. Now if she can just learn to eat by herself and pack on the pounds, she'll be headed for home!
In the next picture she's trying to say that she's had enough of me taking pictures of her!
